BBC Worldwide Mad For Oasis Package

BBC Worldwide is offering broadcasters a package of rock group Oasis's TV appearances for the BBC, including their Top of the Pops debut.

Oasis Soul & Glory will mix documentary footage charting their 15 year career, narrated by Radio One DJ Zane Lowe, with 12 performances from the BBC archives.

It will include their first ToTP appearance in 1994 and a rare performance of Noel Gallagher taking over from his brother Liam to sing lead on their song Wonderwall.

BBC Worldwide has also released an HD recording of Oasis' set for last year's BBC Electric Proms.

The documentary and the concert were both produced in conjunction with Oasis' label Big Brother Recordings and will be offered internationally.

BBC Worldwide Music head of content development Jon Mansfield said: "This has been a fantastic opportunity and privilege to collaborate with a band of the stature of Oasis in to enable some of their best BBC performances to reach global audiences utilising the strengths of BBC Worldwide multiplatform infrastructure."
