Liam Gallagher Toasts The Rifles
London four-piece The Rifles have been getting expert advice from rock gods Paul Weller, 49, and Liam Gallagher, 36.
The lads who release new album Great Escape this week, recently spent a weekend in the Big Apple.
Guitarist Luke Crowther, 27, told me: "We were doing a gig in New York with Paul - and Liam was in the audience.
"We all went drinking afterwards and he told us to just enjoy it all. He's hilarious - we had a real laugh."

Great band The Rifles. Just bought their new album and its great...lots of really ace catchy songs. For anyone who lkes some good british indie then this is for you. Oh and their playing a free instore tomorrow at fopp in camden, so go check them out, theyre brilliant live! theirs my rifles plug
